On Sunday, October 5th legendary vocalist extraordinaire Bruce Dickinson took the stage for the last show of his current US Tour at the Wiltern in Los Angeles, California.
On the heels of a very successful 2024 sold out tour, fans were treated to a sixteen-song set that spanned his solo career plus a couple of nice surprises., including tracks from his latest album, The Mandrake Project.




The show opened with the powerful “Accident of Birth,” setting the tone for an evening of high-energy rock. Dickinson’s band includes Tanya O’Callaghan on bass, Dave Moreno on drums, Mistheria on keyboards, Swedish-born guitarist, songwriter and multi-platinum-credited producer Philip Näslund and Swiss guitarist Chris Declercq.
The setlist was a perfect blend of new and old, with a trio songs culled from “The Mandrake Project.” Included were “Shadow of the Gods,” “Resurrection Men,” and “Rain on The Graves” from the new album. Fans also reveled in classic Dickinson solo cuts like “Road to Hell” and “Abduction,” as well as a covers of Iron Maiden’s “Flash of the Blade” and the Edgar Winter Group top ten hit “Frankenstein.”
One of the highlights of the night was “The Alchemist” from the 1998 album “The Chemical Wedding.” The album was well represented at this show with songs including “The Book of Thel,” “Chemical Wedding” and “The Tower.”




The encore included “Tears of the Dragon” as well as “Gods of War,” from the debut solo album “Balls to Picasso.” The concert was not only a showcase of Dickinson’s enduring talent but also a testament to his 35 years as a solo artist which includes seven incredible albums.
Bruce Dickinson’s show this evening was filled with raw energy, musical mastery, and a setlist that perfectly captured the essence of his solo work. He was totally engaged with the audience for the entirety of the concert. It was a night that will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to attend.
