The 2025 Rock for Ronnie concert at the Autry Museum in Griffith Park in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday, May 18, 2025. It was a powerful tribute to Ronnie James Dio, and a fundraiser for the Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund. The event featured a full day of live music, a live auction, and cancer awareness efforts.

The host of the event was Ahmet Zappa, who kept the crowd entertained between sets and during raffles.

This year’s headliner was Sebastian Bach the former frontman of Skid Row; He delivered a blistering set, which included a version of DIO’s “Stand Up and Shout.”

Capping off the event was an All-Star Jam whose musicians hailed from various bands including Whitesnake, Quiet Riot, DIO, Thin Lizzy, Black Star Riders, Anthrax, Armored Saint, Warrant, and King’s X.

Other Performances during the day were Anita Squeeze (featuring original Warrant guitarist Josh Lewis), Jason Charles Miller, Count’s 77, Kill Devil Hill, Dio Disciples and Led Zepagain, who capped off the event.

The Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund has raised over $2 million for cancer research and prevention since its inception. This year’s event continued that mission, with 100% of net proceeds supporting cancer prevention, research, and education. A check on this occasion was presented to the research team in the amount of $25,000.00 dollars.

The Autry Museum’s South Lawn provided a scenic and spacious setting. The event was well-organized, with smooth traffic flow between the stage, vendors, merch booths, auction stalls, and food trucks.
