An Artist
Spotlight by Kara

Coining themselves a pure “SUPERROCK” band, Pride formed in 1997, and
moved to Hollywood only a couple of years later to spend eight months
writing material and performing locally. They
have even headlined at the legendary Whisky A Go Go on the Sunset Strip,
and opened for Tesla, Quiet Riot, and Mike Tramp of White Lion.

After
the four returned to their native Denmark to complete their first CD, the
band has embarked on a tour in Europe with seasoned Danish rockers, Pretty
Maids, which is scheduled to wind up in March.
Pride’s
new release XXX spans over twenty minutes and offers up four new tracks
entitled “Woman,” "Moviestar XXX,” “L.S.D.,” and “Live It.”
Their sound is in the vein of straight ahead rockers like Aerosmith,
but with an upbeat pop twist and a sense of humor.
The disc can be found on the band’s Web site at www.prideworld.org
or on MP3.com along with track samples. |
