TPRS Spotlight Artist
J.D.
Bradshaw
Virginia guitarist J.D. Bradshaw delivers a brand a shred metal that is rare
these days yet still most welcome. His debut release “Caught In The Act”
contains 4 tracks. ”Coolin” is pure Satriani style guitar shredding all the
way. “Beltrane” is a relentless piece of guitar heroics that is sure to satisfy
fans of Eddie Van Halen and Paul Gilbert. J.D. handles all instruments except
drums and the fullness of sound throughout this release definitely gives a nod
to 80’s styled production. Vocally, J.D. sounds quite a bit like Nadir D’Priest
and the track “All The Way” easily could pass as a London or D’Priest track
including the full drum sound and killer guitar riffs.
Bradshaw’s latest CD, The Essence of Existence was officially released in
January 2002 on his own label, Acacia Entertainment.
