Former Terra Nova guitarist Fred Hendrix along with Ron Hendrix and Eric Derix
deliver a 14 track hard rock release that is extremely melodic and quite
different than most releases we receive out of Holland.
Aquila's title track “Say Yeah” sounds like a cross of Def Leppard’s Joe
Elliott with Sebastian Bach with vocal courtesy of Hendrix.
The upbeat Euphoria / Hysteria vibe continues throughout the CD further
insuring that most all the tracks are very catchy.
“Young and Restless” could have easily appeared on the debut
Firehouse CD. Only one track breaks
up the good time feeling. “Cecilia”
is a song about a girl struggling with severe personal problems.
Hendrix’s vocals on “Forgive Me” are once again teetering into the
Sebastian Bach territory with a dash of Firehouse. “The Kids Wanna Rock (Not the Bryan Adams song) is a
rousing AOR blast that recalls the early 80’s. |
