Winger
The band continued with an arsenal of favorites covering their entire career, even offering representations from each of Kip Winger’s solo releases, as well as ample solo time for both guitarist Reb Beach and drummer Rod Morgenstein. Though the band was sure to include pop favorites like “Seventeen,” “Hungry,” and “Easy Come Easy Go,” and ballads like “Headed’ for a Heartbreak,” and “Miles Away,” new arrangements, strong vocal harmonies, and their dedicated musicianship left the greatest mark on the evening. Other highlights included “Junkyard Dog,” “Rainbow in the Rose,” and “Steam.” Considering that this Baltimore, Maryland performance was part of a very short stint of Winger headlining dates, the Thunderdome was packed with only the most dedicated Winger fanatics, including some who’d traveled great distances to catch the show. And without question, there were no disappointments. In fact, the band was even nice enough to mingle its way through the entire audience following the show to individually greet each of their fans, sign autographs, and take pictures.
