In fact, by the time the whole band kicked in to their appropriate opener, "Comin'
Atcha Live," their was a huge mass of unruly disciples smashed up against
the barrier. The pandimonium continued with yet another reason to
roar, a cover of "War Pigs," which is a recent, but well accepted addition
to the band's set (and an opportunity for vocalist Jeff Keith to go a little
crazy on stage).
A hush finally fell over the crowd as they softly and swiftly played on with
a ballad, "Getting Better," to be precise and as the head straight rockers
played on, a great mood of appreciate fell over the exhausted crowd and
cheers continued through rockers like "Mama's Fool" and slower classics like
"What You Give," just the same...
Of course, a night of Tesla
would not be complete without the old school covers that brought the band
great success early on in their careers. So, they pulled "Little Suzi" and
"Signs" out mid-set to stir things up once again.
Tesla can be found performing
live on the Rock Never Stops tour through September. For more
