Poison's music
has always brought out the sexy side of rock 'n roll in a fun way, with songs
like "I Want Action," "Talk Dirty to Me," and
"Unskinny Bop." The theme has
carried them through the years and made for an incredible live and visual
performance that made them video stars and had them dubbed as being the best
show since KISS.
|

The latest song
to carry the torch is a track off of their Power to the People album (Cyanide
Music), which recently reunited Bret Michaels (vocals), Rikki Rockett (drums),
Bobby Dall (bass), and C.C. Deville (guitar) in the studio for the first time
in many years. The track called "I
Hate Every Bone in Your Body But Mine," is a catch pop tune that features
Deville on lead vocals for the first time in Poison history, and is sure to
have you singing along in no time.

With that in mind
it is obvious that a night of Poison is sure to be a night of fun. During their live performances, Michaels,
Rockett, Dall, and Deville are joined by keyboard player Stu Simone.

Though they are obligated to slow it down
for hits like "Every Rose Has its Thorn" and "Somethin' to
Believe In," the latter of which offer Simone a chance in the spotlight,
the best part of Poison's set is a shot of adrenaline served up with cuts like
"Look What the Cat Dragged In" and "Let it Play." And if the music is not enough, wardrobe
changes, onstage antics, and stage setup should surely keep your interest.

The band encored
with some help from several members of the audience, who joined to dance and
sing along to a cover of the ultimate party song, KISS' "Rock n Roll All
Nite," and concluded with "Talk Dirty to Me" and a visit from
Deville, who launched himself into the audience before saying goodnight.
