Firehouse
RockFest
7/6/2002

Bill Leverty

Second on the bill was Firehouse, who again were only given thirty minutes to pull out as many of those top forty favorites as possible.  But, as vocalist CJ Snare quickly footed his way to the stage, it was clear that he was a man on a mission.  And as the quartet kicked in with “All She Wrote” it was clear to everyone that their mission was to rock!

The audience took note as they continued with “Shake & Tumble,” also from their 1990 debut.  Then came the big hits, “When I Look Into Your Eyes” and “Love of a Lifetime,” which lead Snare to the keyboards mid-set and as always showcased the awesome vocal harmonies, for which this band is known. But, to finish things off the audience was invited “Reach for the Sky” and sing along to “Don't Treat Me Bad.”

Mike from Firehouse

It could have been cute had they added "Lover's Lane" since most in attendance at the show were likely to have passed a road exit of the same name in neighboring Akron, but instead, Firehouse finished off the evening as making up for the short stint on stage by treating all of their fans to a meet-n-greet following their performance.
