In support of their new live album and recent
reunion, Britny Fox has hit the stage to deliver a set of hits and favorites
including the popular "Girlschool" as well as rarities like "Turn
On" from the Nintendo White Knuckle Scorin' Soundtrack, both of which are
found on the live release Long Way to Live (Spitfire). And as expected, the band threw in
quite a few tracks from their third release Bite Down Hard (Atlantic),
which features their current vocalist Tommy Paris.
Those included
"Closer to Your Love," "Over and Out," and their cover
of The Sensational Alex Harvey Band's "Midnight Moses" just to
name a few...

Considering the band had been out of touch with each other for many years
prior to their six-show reunion last year, where they recorded the live
tracks, and haven't been together since, it is even more impressive that
after working out a few bugs, they are sounding better than ever.
When they began the tour in Pittsburgh, PA, the energy was high, the
attitude was positive, and most importantly, they gave their fans
something to talk about, and certainly something to look forward to, with
the promise of a forthcoming fifth album from the band next year. Shows where bands give 110% are few and far in between, but Britny Fox
seems to be the exception to that rule.
Britny Fox entertained the crowd with a shorter and slightly
different set list, which kicked off with "Six Guns Loaded," and
included "Rock Revolution" and "Kick n Fight" from the band's
debut album, as well as other surprises.
