Armored Saint
|
Armored Saint featuring Anthrax vocalist,
John Bush
reunited after an eight year hiatus in 2000 for their Metal Blade release,
Revelation. These metal veterans
will be found warming up the crowd on this leg of Dio's North American
Tour.

Starting the show promptly at 8:00 p.m., Armored Saint performed before
a small yet enthusiastic crowd. It was clear that the band's hard
core following had arrived early to show their support.

 |
Kicking things off with "Can U Deliver," the band performed a
short set, which barely lasted a half hour. While they covered old and new
material, it was obvious that one track, "Last Train Home,"
which had once garnered them radio airplay and a well rotated video on MTV, was
certainly absent from the set.
They did include another crowd favorite, "Reign of Fire," as
well as a new track called "Pay Dirt," from their 2000 release
Revelation (Metal Blade), which earned much applause. Other notable songs
were "Symbol of Salvation," from their last album of the same
name, and their anthem, "March of the Saint," from their
debut release.
