Released on 25 July 1980, Back in Black was the first AC/DC album recorded without former lead singer Bon Scott, who died on 19 February 1980 at the age of 33, and was dedicated to him. The band considered disbanding following Scotts death, but they ultimately decided to continue and shortly thereafter hired Brian Johnson as their new lead singer and lyricist.

Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap is the third studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC, released in 1976. All songs were written by Angus Young, Malcolm Young, and Bon Scott.

The name of the album was inspired by a book Angus Young read, entitled For Those About To Die, We Salute You, about Roman gladiators.

It was once again recorded at Delta-Studio in Wilster with Dirk Steffens producing, and was the first Accept album engineered by Michael Wagener. Bassist Peter Baltes sings lead vocal on Breaking Up Again, and the bridge vocal on Midnight Highway.

Kaizoku-Ban is a live mini album or EP by Accept. It was recorded in Nagoya, Japan September 19, 1985 and released on vinyl the same year. It was later re-released as Live in Japan in 1992. Though this is an official release, the title translates as Pirate Edition.

Rock in a Hard Place is the seventh studio album by American hard rock band Aerosmith, released on August 1, 1982 on Columbia. It is the only Aerosmith album to not feature guitarist Joe Perry. The band spent 1.5 million dollars on the recording of this album. Rhythm guitarist Brad Whitford left the band during its recording in 1981. Whitford is billed as an additional musician, and can be heard playing rhythm guitar on Lightning Strikes.

Angel is the eponymous debut album by the rock band Angel. Tower, the keyboard-heavy opening track.[1] was used widely during the late 70s and early 80s by Album Rock stations for various advertising purposes. This album can be viewed as the most progressive album to date by Angel, with Helluva Band leaning more towards a Hard Progressive Rock. Tracks 6-8 segue to form a 10 minute mini suite.

On Earth As It Is In Heaven is the third album by the rock band Angel. This marks the last album with Mickie Jones who was ANGELs bass player since 1974. It was produced by Eddie Kramer (KISS/Jimi Hendrix) and recorded in an actual castle in the Hollywood Hills.
