Push - On The Run
PUSH was formed in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1994 by vocalist Martie Peters and former guitarist Martin DaRic, after a 1995 a distribution deal was secured with Danish label Nordic Metal, songs were written and the band prepared for their debut album.
The album, Maximum Entertainment, was finished late the next year and released in Denmark on December 14, 1996. Soon after it was later released throughout Europe, and the band even earned spots opening for Royal Hunt and Pink Cream 69.
After several line-up changes through the years, PUSH went on to release their second album, On the Run, on Z Records, and according to their Web site, the will soon sign an improved four album deal with Z Records.
PUSH delivers melodic hard rock with great harmonies that offer up a sound similar to that of White Lion and Enuff Z' Nuff on their latest release, On the Run.
This sophomore album starts out rockin' like Dokken with a killer guitar and fluid vocals, and continues to offer up great tracks like "Jokerman" and the ballad, "Miracles." This album is a must have for melodic rock and metal fans alike.
