Almost 20 years ago, a band from the Pacific Northwest came onto the scene playing melodic rock with a female singer that doubled as a saxaphone player. Rindy Ross of Quarterflash had one of the smoothest and immediately recognizable voices of the time period as most women were trying to sound like Pat Benatar.
