Lead by George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher, Paths Of Possession play
a hybrid of Swedish melodic death metal with more straight ahead
metal influences along the lines of perhaps Nevermore at times.
These songs do not take on a Cannibal Corpse feel as they are
much more "melodic". That is not to say that "Promises In
Blood" is a melodic metal release. The vocals are still
punishing and the riffs hit hard.
