Hailing from Poland (Jak są wy!),
Hellfire unleashes an absolutely smoking concept album titled
"Requiem For My Bride". For a change, this is a Polish
band that does not remind you or Vader or Turbo. Immediate
comparisons to King Diamond in the concept department and
vocally to the Scorpions are apparent as are similarities to
Annihilator (which several other reviewers have noted as well).
The story is grim, the music is intense power metal and the
sound is very well produced for an Eastern European release.
Hellfire is one of those bands that is young and hungry and
should do even better with future releases. A most
promising debut release.
